UMA: A singular brand
Created by the fashion designer Raquel Blay Davidowicz in 1996, the concept of the brand UMA is to create timeless collections that at the same time are extremely contemporaneous.
The brand is defined by an urban, active style that also depicts an uncommitted sensuality, refined and delicate, a modern and chic look. Much importance is also given to comfort, versatility, and practicality through the usage of high quality fabrics and impeccable fitting.
For this Fall Collection, the main inspiration comes from the movement, balance and dynamics traduced in the subject of “Mechanics”. The effect of movement is also identified by the work "Derrapagens" (Side-Slips) by the Brazilian artist Regina Silveira with whom the designer worked to create unique prints.
The final look is defined by a primitive luxury, the "rough-luxe”: A casual, more eclectic and less pretentious look.
